Record-breaking Pro Fleet announced for Round 2 of the BWA Championship sponsored by The Mailing Room
2017 sees an all time record BWA Tiree Wave Classic Pro fleet of 22, including several international sailors.
UK sailor Adam Lewis has finished in 5th position on the world tour and is coming to Tiree to compete for the UK title against several current and previous champs, including our own Phil Horrocks, alongside Ben Proffit and Ross Williams, so we are expecting a battle of the giants.
The addition of several high profile International sailors such as Julian Taboulet and Marc Paret Rico could cause the UK pros a great deal of concern, but the cold and ferocious waves of Tiree have a habit of killing of international attempts to win the coveted Tiree Sword.
We’ll supply an update after the event, along with links to filming of the competition, though you could always travel to the Isle of Tiree, off the west coast of Scotland, and watch it live!
