SAVE 20p against 2019/20 Stamps
Following the announcement of their new stamp prices from March 25th 2019, Royal Mail have released the latest franking rates, with fantastic savings up to 33% for Mailmark machines.
At only 41p for 2nd Class postage, you can now save 20p on every letter sent using Mailmark franking, compared to the new 2019/20 stamp cost of 61p. This reduced 2p rise extends the saving over Standard Franking to 6p, as the non-Mailmark rate rises to 47p, in-line with the 3p added to stamps.
1st Class Mailmark franking now delivers a saving of 9p on every standard letter, at 61p against 70p, 50% more than the 6p saving on Standard franking at 64p. The difference rises to 120% extra at 11p for large letters up to 100g, with Mailmark at 95p compared to £1.01 for Standard franking and £1.06 for stamps. Savings rise to more than double that for letters to 500g, at 24p on 1st Class stamps, and more than treble with 37p on 2nd Class.
