19p Saving with Mailmark Franking

Following on from the announcement of their new stamp prices from March 26^th 2018, Royal Mail have released the latest franking rates, with fantastic savings up to 33% for Mailmark machines.

At only 39p, you can now save 19p on every 2^nd Class letter sent using Mailmark franking, compared to the new 2018/19 stamp cost of 58p. This extends the saving on Standard Franking to 5p, as the non-Mailmark rate rises to 44p; increasing the value of using the latest franking technology to guarantee the cheapest tariff available for Royal Mail franked post.

1^st Class Mailmark franking delivers a saving of 10p on every standard letter, at 57p against 67p, compared to a 7p saving on Standard franking at 60p. The difference increases for large letters up to 100g, with Mailmark at 89p compared to 95p for Standard franking and £1.01 for stamps; doubling the available saving to 12p a letter. You can double that double again on letters to 500g by saving 24p on 1st Class stamps, or treble with 37p on 2nd Class.

The continual growth in parcel traffic for the Royal Mail is also reflected in the latest costs, with great value franking rates from £3.22 for 1^st Class and £2.72 for 2^nd, providing 15% saving of £1.33 on 1^st Class medium parcels 1-2kg.
